Sculpture
While he graduated from the Professional Institute of Marble "Pietro Tacca" of Carrara (1977), he attended the studies of sculpture citizens. He then moved to Bern to work in Zutter’s Atelier.
In 1978 he enrolled in the Sculpture section of the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara, from which he graduated in 1982 with a thesis on Francesco Somaini with which he began an important collaboration. In 1979 he gained experience in the Laboratory Bottega Versiliese of Pietrasanta and participated in the "Sculpture Symposium" of Carrara, where in 1980 he won the "Purchase Award" by the Municipality of Carrara.
In 1984 he opened his studio in Carrara working with important artists and architects for the realization of marble works. From 1990 he began teaching at the Academies of Fine Arts, including Bologna, Brera and Carrara, where he currently holds the chair of Technology and Use of Marble.
In 2003 he took care of the technical direction of the "XV International Symposium" in Carrara.
