Gaia Pivac's research is grounded in contemporary audiovisual memory. More specifically, she is interested in the Bergsonian concept of memory as a succession of images of consciousness. Her aim is to capture and reveal the deep connection between the energy of nature and the technological nature of humankind. For Carrara Studi Aperti she presents her first "impersonale" -- a journey that speaks of community and, in particular, of the Carrara artistic community, of which Gaia feels herself deeply a part and to which she is grateful. A choral experience, to be lived in full.
